The Differences Between Heavy Duty Train Horn Wiring and Standard Horn Wiring

First in a heavy-set with the train horn will go a pressure switch that, especially in the vicinity of the exhaust is the compressor. The switch will come on two separate lines, which by it. First there is the positively charged wire, move directly to the battery or other materials that will be created to function properly, the 12-volt power for the horn. Second, there is a single wire that connects to a relay terminal.

The relay terminal, which is usedhave four wires in it. First there is the red wire to terminal 87 of the relay, which is directly on the air compressor. A blue wire is then used by the terminal 86 the pressure switch.

After this terminal 85 on a separate line, which is grounded. This is used to the electric currents that control comes from the whole setup. This wire is brown in color. The last of the wires used to be, is the yellow wire from terminal 30, which measures thepositive wire, moves between the 12-volt power generator and pressure switches.

Finally, you must have the battery positive wire links the button to activate the horn. A positive wire is also between that button and the solenoid valve.

Everything else for the wiring of the train horn kits will be the same. The solenoid valve is still with a grounding cable along with an air hose to connect with the air tank in touch. An air hose is alsoestablished between the compressor and air tank.
